Unlinking All Your Linked Layers With A Single Click
Here’s another one we’ve been waiting (patiently, I might add) for a long time—the ability to unlink all your linked layers with a single click. Just click once on the Link icon at the bottom of the Layers palette and all layers linked to your current linked layer will be unlinked. See, if you just wait long enough.
So I have a template for putting pictures in a pair of Painting Frames – a Poster Mock up. But the two pictures are connected in smart object groups (not smart object layers alone). So I can copy and make four frames in total etc. There seems to be absolutely no way to un-link smart objects groups. I have tried various tricks to try to get around this. Are you smart enough to figure out how to outsmart Smart Object groups?
