Photoshop 12.0.4 Update Available!

There is a new update for Photoshop available now that fixes several bugs including some security issues, Liquify meshes, and problem with Quick Selection crashes among others. This update also makes Photoshop able to communicate with the new tablet apps that Adobe just announced a couple weeks ago. The apps are not available just yet but be sure to check iTunes in the coming weeks. That doesn’t necessarily mean you have to wait until they are released to install the update as it does fix some bug issues not related to the tablet apps. You can download the update by going under the Help menu in Photoshop and choosing Updates or download directly from the Adobe site by clicking here.

Having difficulty installing this update. Photoshops application manager gives no warning about turning off your anti-virus program before downloading and installing. Once you are rejected you need to save so many of your presets, plug ins, brushes and actions you created and then uninstall your CS 5 extended and reinstall your licenced version and then reload all the things you saved. This update will cost you a lot of time and efford. Hope Adobe can make updates easier to update.

Good to hear that this update is available..:)
@karl..the update is downloaded and is working fine on my machine without any problem..I guess there might be a problem with ur antivirus..try disabling firewall of ur Antivirus before installing as it may block ur update process..:)

Good to know this… Although I’d better make sure this update is applied before my Photoshop CS5 Extended Upgrade arrives in the mail (ordered that from Amazon a few days back). Let’s hope things will work out with all this.
