Increase and Decrease your Text Without Scrubbers

To increase and decrease your text size, select all of your text in a type layer and press Command-Shift-< or > (PC: Ctrl-Shift-< or >). Command-Shift-< decreases the text, while Command-Shift-> increases the text.

Also if you select the text, click your mouse in the font size box next to the font in the toolbar and use your up and down arrows on your keyboard it will increase or decrease your text. Lastly, if you hide the selection (command H i think) you can preview the text while it’s being resized without the darkened selection box around your text.

You can also use this method in the fonts box as well to select between the fonts instead of using the drop down menu and guessing what it may look like.
