Back from Photoshop World!

Well I am back I the office this week after having a blast at Photoshop World in Orlando last week in Orlando. I had such a great time meeting and talking with the attendees and sharing our love of all things Photoshop. I also want to thank everyone who attended my classes. I hope you had as much fun as I did and hope I was able to teach you something or at the very least get you thinking about some creative possibilities. Now I do remember in one of my classes I talked about using the Divine Proportion when building a design. As it turns out, I showed how to create the divine proportion graphic in past episode of Layers TV. Here is the link. I also did a couple tutorials from this site live right in the Tech Expo. Be sure to check those out in the tutorials section above.

So in case you haven’t heard one the biggest announcements at the Photoshop World keynote would that CS5 will be announced on April 12. Yes, they announced the announcement. So what does that mean? Well it essentially means that the new CS5 features will be made public on that day. When it will ship is entirely different question to which no one but Adobe has the answer. Let’s just say it will be very soon. If you have been involved in the recent public beta then you know that there are a lot of things to get excited about. Adobe did demo a few new features during the keynote but they kept it very low key and they also revealed the packaging. Which I must say is pretty slick! So be ready for April 12 and see what’s coming in CS5!!!

Lastly if you did not make it to Photoshop World you can see all the cool photos from the event by checking out the Flickr pool here. Also don’t forget to check out Scott Kelby’s blog for his Post-Photoshop World report as well. Be sure to tune in later this week for an all-new exclusive tutorial right here on Planet Photoshop.
