    Corey this is amazing – I bet the web is going to be hit hard with 3d images, when CS5 hits the streets! Looking forward to more 3d stuff!

    Hey Corey,

    I’m Steve from the UK and I’m a great fan of photoshopTV. This site is a recent discovery and I have to say I’m now addicted to your regular inspiring tutorials.

    Thanks
    Steve

    Corey,

    As always very cool and creative. I also have been meaning to request if you have seen a TV show called Fringe and if ou can show how the title is done in that show.

    Thank you,
    pk.

    I have been trying to do this for a few hours today. The repousse option is not highlighted and I can’t seem to create a 3d object from a text layer. I’ve made sure i’m on 8bit RGB but am still not sure y i’m not able to do this. Any help would be appreciated! TY

    Very cool, I just hope this isnt one of those features that will crash Photoshop on my system. I havnt had much luck with 3D features in Photoshop so far.

    Okay, I just downloaded the trial and its greyed out. does this mean it wont work on my machine, or has the feature not been implemented in this release yet?

    Great tutorial! Wish P.PS would do more CD album covers & back image design work + inlay booklet stuff. That would really float my boat.

    @Kyle Maloney:

    I have the exact same problem! It all seems to work fine but everything but “Browse 3D Content Online” and “Auto Hide Layer for Performance” is greyed out!

    This is my work computer and it runs Windows Vista Home Premium with SP2 on an AMD Athlon 7750 Dual-Core @ 2,70GHz, 4GB of RAM and a ATI Radeon HD 4350 with 512MB RAM. Shouldn’t be a problem should it…?

    Can anyone explain where this greying out of the 3D features is coming from?

    For those of you struggling with grayed out option under the 3D menu, make sure your colors are set to RGB rather than CMYK.

    Thanks a lot for all great tutorials.
    If I may, I would like to remind you something. The image of your screen background usually diverts my attention and I have difficulties to watch the tutorial with it’s full effect. Is it possible to make your tutorial full screen so that the screen montage of apple is no more visible? Thank you.

    Please help me….when i click on the Respoussé button it tells me that it “could not complete the Text Layer command because the type layer uses a faux bold style” plz help me:(

    @OnlyUSeMeThump

    your font has been set to faux bold. highlight the text you made, right click on it and uncheck faux bold. I’m sure this would help.

    Hi Corey, I really enjoy to watch this Photoshop video tutorial and it learned me alot on the 3D CS5 feature, but I get 1 question that I didn’t understood-
    What is the font of the 3D text function ??
    Thanks alot and best regards,
    Nir BN

    if you click that video to fullscreen mode so it goes over edges.. tested in google chrome and firefox beta 4b10 so that video doesn´t work correct because in youtube everything looks right.
